LORENDA LONG
FIELD DIRECTOR
ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Lorenda. I’m from a small town of only 509 people in South Dakota. I am someone who’s not afraid of a little hard work and elbow grease, but I also enjoy the simple things in a girl's life- like getting my nails done and grabbing an iced coffee. Growing up on a ranch, my dad taught me the value of showing up and doing the job right. I come from a small yet supportive community where people look out for one another and your word means something. That upbringing taught me to be dependable and respectful. It also gave me a strong sense of pride in where I’m from and the work I do. I carry those values with me in every part of my life.
Before joining Family Heritage I worked in the financial world as a Branch Manager for a Credit Union and a Lender for a Bank. I chose a career with Family Heritage because I wanted full control over my income and my future. A commission-based role can be intimidating, but that fear goes away when you’re willing to put in the work. I love that my effort directly determines my success. The opportunities here are truly unlimited.
This career has impacted my life in more ways than I ever expected. A lot of people think that being your own boss means having more free time, but the reality is the opposite. Working for Family Heritage has pushed me to level up in every area of my life. I have learned the importance of self-development and strategically using my time. I am eager to see what kind of person this career shapes me into.
What I enjoy most about working with Family Heritage is the people. There’s something powerful about being surrounded by others who are all pushing toward greatness. You won’t find the same kind of like-minded, driven individuals anywhere else. Everyone here wants to see each other win, and the willingness to help and support one another is unmatched.
When I am not working, you can find me taking care of my 12 nieces and nephews.
